I am a landscape & wildlife photographer, with a strong interest in nature in all it's forms.
I returned to the UK after living in (and loving) the "land of the long white cloud" - New Zealand, for 6 years, during which time I was able to take advantage of the spectacular scenery of both North and South islands to further develop my long standing love of photography.
I now live within a short distance of the Peak District National Park, and am fortunate enough to be able to take advantage of the time I now have to watch the natural changes of the cycling seasons, and changing light, all of which inspire my photography. This continues to teach me to see what is all to easily ignored, and engage with the changing weather conditions & seasons in an attempt to understand them.
With the Peak District on my doorstep, it has become my main source of inspiration, and I spend the majority of my time photographing it's varied and ever changing moods, and it's abundant wildlife.
It is a fantastic area to teach budding landscape and nature photographers, I get great satisfaction helping them hone their skills while enjoying the wild peaks, or beauty of the dales.
